A strong cold front will sweep through the Central U. This front will produce strong to severe thunderstorms today from the Upper Mississippi Valley into the central Plains and elevated to critical fire weather conditions in the northern and central Plains. These images serve as a general forecast for the state. They should be used for planning purposes only. Each day the TV aviation and marine images will expire as new forecast information is produced the next morning.
